How far back does tick data go?

How far back does tick data go?

Is the length of time that historic data is available at tick level differ by symbol?

 

I dont seem to be able to get tick data for GBPZAR earlier than 17th Jan2021 but others i can get back into October at least

Hi jayteasuk,

The availability of historical data depends on the broker. It usually goes back to the date that the broker decided to offer the symbol for trading.
